Before long, Franco and Sarah were at the first door they needed to hack. They seem to have an "off the record" relationship that they're hiding from their superiors, and the changes in tone and dialogue reflected that. As a story junkie, I dug these two characters immediately. Like I said the game opens with 'The Office' homage, but quickly Franco and Sarah are running around the Sprawl on a mission. Interesting, no? Recently, I had the chance to see Dead Space Ignition in action. This leads you to four separate endings that each give you an unlockable bonus for Dead Space 2. The story will play out in moving comic cutscenes, a mini-game will pop up that tech-head Franco will need to polish off, and (at certain points) you'll pick what the duo does next. As everything goes to hell on the Sprawl, you'll be watching from the perspective of Franco and Sarah in this lovechild of a mini-game collection and a "choose your own adventure" book. Instead, you'll be playing an "interactive comic-style story with three unique hacking mini games." The title gives gamers a glimpse at the hours and events preceding Isaac Clarke's arrival on a space station known as the Sprawl in Dead Space 2. In Dead Space Ignition, you won't be blasting baddies. The Dead Space franchise is known for cool suits, gory deaths, and monsters pulled from the most disturbing nightmares, but this PlayStation Network and Xbox Live game is taking the road less traveled. Just moments after starting Dead Space Ignition - the downloadable prologue to Dead Space 2 - one of the characters was talking about a task not being that hard, and his female companion's response was a simple "That's what she said." Thank you for your contribution to humanity, Steve Carell.
